Sarah Palin’s Oval Office

An interactive Palin link thanks to Amira Al Hussaini of Voices without Votes:

It is supposed to be updated everyday until the election. Just click around the image. My favorite is the waste paper bin.

  1. Piss funny Kevin!

Palin is her own tragic comedy nightmare. Pity it’s not slapstick.

I like the list of kids names on the wall…snigger.
& the lynchmob baying outside of her window when you open it.

  2. Hehe, the burning books & the bulldog with lipstick ain’t bad either.

  4. It’s the baby names for me.

  5. Just have to have a say re Miranda Devine.

Miranda writes for the SMH under the heading of: Spittin’ sisters show true colours – at: http://www.smh.com.au/news/opinion/miranda-devine/miranda-devine-on-poison-palin-brings-out/2008/10/15/1223750125257.html

~she has been a powerful psychic enema, flushing out the poison at the heart of establishment feminism for all to see….

Oh really? But that’s spooky, feminism has a poisonous heart, quick grab the garlic poultice. However I can cope with the concept of Palin being an ‘enema’.

~a certain type of influential progressive woman has been driven to insane rage by Palin’s very existence…

Ahh, that explains why I started ironing hubby’s jocks. I went insane.

The conclusion is that women who do not like Palin are:

~bitchy high-school (jealous) of the popular queen… That those who don’t like the ‘popular queen’ (are) the snarling, self-mutilating nerd and goths who vainly lusted after the cute boys she snared.

Gotcha Miranda, you’re reliving some sort of 90’s American High School movie.

~The consolation for the losers is that homecoming queens are meant to get married, get pregnant, get fat and lose their looks so the self-made strugglers such as Bernhard and Madonna can patronise them at school reunions.

Miranda if you have a relook at all those High School Movies, it’s the High School Homecoming Queens who snidely look down their noses at the still unmarried and unsuccessful ‘nerds’ and ‘goths’. (Ref: Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion). The aforementioned is my reference, now provide yours.

Miranda then suddenly jumps from the topic of Palin and feminism/jealousy issues to pro-Choice. I am not going to attempt to address this. One moment Miranda is talking about Homecoming Queens in America and in the next sentence jumps to abortion law (Victoria, Australia). I think that someone should have a nice quiet weekend and that someone should try to focus on one issue at a time rather than making a complete mish-mosh of both arguments.

  6. Min,

Thanks for the post and link. I also had a chuckle at this little quote about Palin…

“There’s something wrong with her … She’s a post-feminist – she’s kept her Wonderbra and burnt her brain.”

  7. Devine pursues the theme…was successful in her career.

Devine ignores recent findings: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27105917/ msnbc.com news services

  8. I’m having a 2nd try at this one..apologies if it comes through twice. I was looking to make a point re Miranda Devine’s article re Palin being honest…that Miranda overlooks recent events.
